The Basic Rider Course 2 (BRC2) was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation as a skills-polishing course for riders with at least One Year of riding experience.
The workshop consists of One day of instruction taught by MSF certified instructors.
Some topics that will be covered:
- Risk management
- Relationship between mental physical riding skill
- Traction management
- Developing a riding strategy
- Proper cornering techniques
- Emergency straight line breaking
- Stopping quickly in a curve
- Counter steering for cornering

There is short Group Ride to lunch included in the course fee.
The student must bring:
- Own Motorcycle & full tank of gas
- Proof of registration & Insurance
- Valid motorcycle license
- The motorcycle must have current
- NYS inspection
Cost - $125.00 for Rider and $15.00 for Passenger
Cancellation Policy
There is a non-refundable $10.00 processing fee. Northern NY Driving Academy must receive one week's notice to cancel or to reschedule. If you cancel or reschedule with less than one weeks notice (7 Days) of your scheduled course date, you will forfeit $50 of the course fee. If you fail to show up on the day of your course, are unprepared to ride or fail to provide the documents listed above, you will forfeit the entire course fee. There will be no exceptions. There will be no make-ups or refunds for absences.
For experienced riders with at least 1 year and 3000 miles of recent riding time.
